Akeylah James is an enthusiastic young performer with a passion for acting, singing, and the arts. She has been acting in stage plays since the age of 5 and has performed in over 14 musicals, including roles such as Lavender in Matilda, The Butler in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Martha Cox in High School Musical Jr..and Oliver in Oliver Twist, with Orangeville Music Theatre in January 2025.

Akeylah has also appeared in several national and international TV commercials and stars in TVO Kids' Trading Skills, where she combines her love of performing with learning new things. She thrives on taking on new challenges and is always eager to grow, both as a performer and in life. Beyond her work in theatre and on screen, she enjoys history, science, swimming, learning, and crocheting creative projects.
